As required by the Government Auditing Standards, we tested the BOP's records and documents pertaining to Pharmacy Services and prescription medications to obtain reasonable assurance that the BOP complied with laws and regulations that, if not complied with, in our judgment could have a material effect on the BOP's administration of Pharmacy Services. Compliance with laws and regulations related to prescription medications is the responsibility of BOP management. Except for the issues discussed in the Findings and Recommendations section of this report, nothing came to our attention that caused us to believe that BOP management was not in compliance with the laws listed above. |
